Safety underlies everything we do with children

In order to better serve the children who attend Horizon Community Church we have a computerized check-in system.  Parents are issued silent pagers for for children under age three while they are in our care.  

Families that are visiting our church for the first time will be served at our Children's Ministries Welcome Center Located at the left side of our foyer.

Families attending Horizon on a regular basis will be issued a proximaty card to enable them to use our self serve kiosks to check-in their children when arriving and before children go to their rooms.

How to check your child in and out of our care:

These procedures are to assist our regular attenders who have been issued proximity cards. 

Check-In Process

1. Touch "Child In."
2. Scan Prox ID card.
3. Select guardian.
4. Select each child.
5. Touch "Next."
6. Scan pager if prompted and turn on, or press "Finish."
7. Remove name tags from printer and apply to each child and all items.
8. Pick up check-in sheet from printer.
9. Take each child and check-in sheet to assigned classroom.

Check-Out Process

1. Touch "Child Out."
2. Scan pager (if no pager was assigned, scan Prox ID card)
3. Select guardian.
4. Select each child to check out.
5. Touch "Next."
6. Scan pager if assigned and not done in step 2, and LEAVE PAGER.
7. Pick up check-out sheet(s) from printer.
